Removing Items in Download Queue.

Is there any way to remove an item from the download queue? My cat accidentally (that's no joke, my cat did it while leaning on the keyboard) started a download for a game that I don't wish to download at this time, and now every time I open the Steam browser the download resumes. I can stop it after it starts, of course, but I'd prefer to just remove it from downloading in the first place.

right click on game and delete local content. Downloading will stop after that.

I need further guide on this matter. I did uninstall 2 games of those I don't wish to play anymore. However, they are still appeared in Game list on Steam panel (at windows' taskbar) when I click on to start a game. That's disgusting. Please help !

This didn't work for me, but i figured it out, if you have the same problem right click on the game in your library, go to properties then updates and under automatic updates switch it to "Only update this game when i launch it" Hope this helps
