Still happens for me once and a while. I have that option checked off too. It's some other problem they are obviously ignoring.
The solution is to make steam sign back in once we've signed in MANUALLY then keep us at our last state when the Steam servers go down. It happened tonight in fact.
Any response from devs on this yet?
Well... i agree that i don't always want to sign in from the get go and all that, but that option is checked for me. All the time, on all my computers. The issue still persists.
Honestly, i don't know why i even bothered to make a thread about it lol. It's not that i want to sound whiney but Valve is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company when it comes to things like this. They STILL DO NOT HAVE A WAY TO TURN OFF THEIR VOICE CHAT. It's 2015, the fact that there is no option to turn their voice chat off is laziness and stupidity of such a high caliber that it really is almost unfathomable to me. For being the leader of digital PC gaming, the way they approach it is often sickeningly sad.
I really wish Friends auto sign in would remember your last state and return you to it.
