Unified Remote causes controller problems
I searched the forums here for this information but found nothing. Apologies if it is a re-post.

I have found that Unified Remote causes problems in some games using a controller in Windows 7, specifically an Xbox 360 controller.

Games known to be an issue:
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Batman: Arkham City

These games apparently choose the Unified Virtual HID driver to be the default game controller instead of the actual controller. To fix the issue, run "RemoteServer.uvhid.exe" and type "fail" followed by return. Then uninstall the Unified Virtual HID driver from the driver manager. You can use the Portable version of Unified Remote just fine, but the installed version seems to cause this issue.

You, sir, are a life saver!
Was going crazy trying to play borderlands... the character kept turning left! Thought the problem was with logitech profiler, but this solved my issues.
Thank you

I'm incredibly confused as to what to do with this information.

Thanks! The file I found on Windows 7 was actually located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Unified Remote 3\uvhid\uvhid.exe

I just had to run uvhid.exe remove in that directory.

omg years later on this old post I found it. I just purchased Tekken 7 on sale and I also had Unified Remote installed. Uninstalled, restarted PC and fixed right away. Thank you.
