Any way to see how long you've had a friend?
Pretty straightforward. Is there anywhere it tells you how long you and a specific friend have been friends? Like, is there anywhere I can go on one of my friends' profiles and it'll tell me "You friended this person on July 5, 2012"?

I know this is very late and you probably don't even care anymore, but if they are on your friends list and you trade them, at the top there should be a little box containing the information about when you first friended your friend. Hope this helped!

Any help on someone who has their profile private? Can't trade with them.

Having a private profile doesn't mean you can't trade with them. People offer trades with me all the time.

Their inventory is private. You can not trade with someone who has a private inventory.
