[FIXED] 日本語ＩＭＥ Issue (Input method problem)

Currently, after the recent update, myself and others using the Japanese IME(Input Method) are having a problem where every time we switch to a new Steam window, it swaps to Japanese input, rather than keeping whatever input we are using, like it should.

Nope, you'll be glad to know everyone with the IME has this issue. Sadly, they probably wont fix it for a few more days.

I honestly expected Steam to fix this really quickly. I just realised, I should probably let you all know that I sent a support ticket to Steam. Here's what they said:

It's been more than a month now for this issue.

It's not a very thorough or promising response, but I'll share it regardless, my apologies for not doing so sooner, everyone. They seem to be aware of the problem, though.

Same problem. Quite annoying actually. It happens in some games as well, like Civ 5 and Borderlands 2, and messes up my controls.

Client update just got released. It's fixed! I'm very glad that this is finally over.
