Gmod Node graph out of date rebuilding and graphics error.

When i play any map on Gmod i seem to get an error that has to do with the node graph and after i get that error the graphics are messed up the textures are out of place and they glitch up gmod ive played it on this computer just fine and so i erased the hole thing so i could just play games lag free it was from windows xp pro 32bit to windows 7 home premium 64bit i get this black thick line thingy and i only get the graphics that gmod normaly has when i look at a certain angle i can't seem to figure out a way to fix it! Can you help? Thanks.

right click on gmod and go to properties and go to set launch options, and force a directX level, do "-dxlevel 8" (without quotes) and this fixed my problem
