Do you mean in appearance or in gameplay? Trine 2 has a lot of the same multiplayer side-scrolling co-op style, but is nothing like LBP in looks.

If you're looking for a game that lets you edit levels or make your own I don't think you'll find anything as good if anything at all.
If you're just looking for a colorful platformer Juju seems like a sweet game, has more DKCR/Tropical Freeze like aesthetics than LBP but it definitely looks pretty.

Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams has a very nice, toy like look to it, so you might give it a shot, it's a wonderful fast paced platformer with kickass music, great atmosphere and fantastic art direction.
There's also of course Rayman Legends and Sonic Generations two of the best platformers ever made, though those don't resemble LBP in the slightest.

Pid is a nice little game thats like the style of little big planet but it doesn't have so much game play in common with little big planet its more graphics cartoon and cartoon violence and puzzle solving. Id recommend that.

I'd say Scribblenauts, it uses handdrawn instead of polygon graphics, but it's also a sidescroller where you have to interact with your environment in creative ways:
