When Windows detects communications activity:

I tried this and it didn't work.
Edit:
Just to make sure I set my speakers back to default device and they pick up voice chat just fine. I think the problem is with the Headset software or the fact that it's a USB device. Just my guess.
When Looking at the TS3 channel I can unplug the headset and nothing will happen but when I do this with the speakers it will say I have been muted / no playback available.

click the configure button & set it to 7.1
Set all your games to 7.1 or 5.1.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I did disable the headsets utility manager as well as disable the 7.1 and that didn't help any.
I'll give this a shot. I'm pretty sure they are already set to 7.1 in windows because I remember that being the only option. I haven't checked sound settings in games so I'll do that when I get a chance.
