High ping despite good connection.
Title pretty much says it all, recently I've been getting higher ping than usual (120 on average to most servers, where before it was around half that, the lowest ping i can find now is about 90), yet on speedtest.net i still get the same speeds and ping as before (around 35 down, 5 up, and 10 ping). This has been happening to me in tf2 mainly, but when i go to check any other game it does the same thing. If anyone has any suggestions I'm more than willing to try them, I just wish I could get bag to playing lag-free.
Some TF2 net settings I've been using:
-rate 60000
-cl_cmdrate 66
-cl_updaterate 66
-cl_interp 0.01
-cl_interp_ratio 1

Hmm, have you been playing on Valve official servers? Or community hosted servers?
I've been playing on community servers but the problem is across the board, the lowest ping server I find after searching all of them is 90 like I said.
Intresting, well setting your rates to "mask" your ping isn't always helpful. Each server has the option to set its own rates what whatever it wants. So server A could have rates set at 10000, 60, 60. While server B could have them set at 20000, 30, 30. So you might have nice ping on server A because your rates are the same or close, but poor ping on server B. Although your rates don't seem to be too far from the average community server which is like server A I used as an example.

Another issue is that speedtest.net might be pinging a server in the nearest city or data center to you. So you could be checking your ping in a building located 2 miles away when you use speedtest.net while the server you wanna play on could be located in another country.

Have you changed any other settings? And you said you dont have lag, right?
Speeds for videos and streams are the same as they have been and I'm using Chris's dx9frames config for tf2 here --> http://www.zamibajones.com/chrisconfig/cfgs/dx9frames.cfg
As for lag, it's not extreme but there's definitely a bit of a delay on hitreg and hitboxes seem a bit wonky. I'm thinking about backing up some files, turning off steamcloud and doing an autoconfig to see if I had some lingering setting messing with it but I'd rather see if I can fix it without going to all that trouble first.
Wow, this config file really changes a lot. I'm not going to pretend like I know what all the defaults to those commands are but I deffiently would not be using it. Now if you've been using it then dont let me sway you from removing it but Valve sets defaults on configs for a reason and changing them in my opinion is a bad idea if you dont really need to or know what you're doing. (Not saying that you dont) but I wouldnt use a config file that changes all those settings. How was your connection before the config file compared to after?
I've been using this pretty much from the start. Most of the changes are graphical I don't think my problem's related to the config, but I'll try taking it off and doing that autoconfig now and getting back to you.
