Failed to load steamui.dll
Hey guys just uninstalled steam and reinstalled it, right after my steam is done updating and goes to the faze "Extracting Files" i get the error " Steam - Fatal Error Failed to load steamui.dll, now ive tried many different solutions to fix this and i need help, ive uninstalled and reinstalled around 15 times, and to no avail its not working. I would appreciate any help i could get from you guys thanks. PS not the firewall

i have the same problem... yesterday when i lunched steam i saw: failed to load steamui.dll. I did averything and i cant fix it. I also instaled new steam but without success... i using windows xp...

if you see "failed to load steamui.dll" error AFTER Jan 18 2015
AND
your PC's "CPU" is one of AMD Athlon/Sempron/Intel Pentium 3

then
you need to try another solution here;

When i do this it just indefinitely installs the updates

Thanks for that but i mean there is no offically fix yet, i'm still following other discussion boards about the problem, still nothing about patch fix from VALVE...:(

I just love it when a program that used to work applies an automatic update, which I can't opt out of, and then it doesn't work anymore. And the developers don't say a word. And this happens all the time. Seriously, don't they test this stuff before going live with it?

Don't do the beta and you won't have to deal with it? Seems like a simple solution to me... Unless you're a complete tool.
