Error 118. Steam store not working for me, but the community and everything else works fine

The store is the only thing not loading for me and I've checked a lot that it is up and running. I'm just trying to check out the last day of discounts and this has been a problem for the last 5-6 hours and remains one. Can anyone help me out here?

I think they are being Ddosed by DERP, cause I get the same error code.

Well it's working just fine for one of my buddies at his house and the only thing not working for me is the store

It wasn't DERP this time, it was some other moron last night. They actually stopped several hours ago (moved on to B.net according to the twitter feed) but the store is still down for many people for whatever reason.

the encore sale should be extended - it's not our fault steam / valve doesn't have decent DDoS protection that has affected a lot of people from even getting stuff for the majority of this sale - and to say the store is back up, it might be for a few, but it's still down for a huge number of people.

store has been kinda weird throughout the encore sale. borderlands 2 was 125% off when it first atarted. not fonna lie. tried to get it. lol. and i couldnt purchase aything for a good while. error 118 was also one of my errors.

Continuous 118 error. Refreshing pages rarely helps. Please fix it!

its not derptrolling thats DDosing steam. Its some other hacker(s) that probubly thoght that that the stuff derp was doing was pretty funny and decided to do the same ♥♥♥♥ to steam.
