Did you have to enter a 4 digit pin to log into steam in the past 15 days?
If so, that would be the reason, but it's only from the computer that you did that from.

Maybe Valve will learn from this and put these Holiday Gimmicks in a separate category.

Hydra, that wont solve anything. It completley disables trading, as you cant even get the trading interface. He can't accept a trade...

Give it a few hours. Like Kuro said, it's probably a server error. Happened to me once when I tried to trade (it was a huge waste!) couldn't trade because of that error. Took a 2 hour nap, tried trading, it worked.

If this still happens to anyone else, try doing it though a web browser instead of the steam application. worked for me
