Read Hazmaster's post (post #8) here and give it a try. Make sure you're logged into the YouTube account you want to link.

I got a solution for this problem.

The issue is that Steam is trying to retrieve your Google+ account instead of your YouTube.

1. Make sure you have created a YouTube channel if you haven't already.

2. While on your YouTube channel (Make sure you are not on you Google+ account..this is important). Go to Setting and scroll down the page.

3. Stop where it says "Third party tools." There should be your YouTube email which looks something like this "xxxxxx-xxxxx@pages.plusgoogle.com"

4. Create a password.

5. Go to steam and link your account. When asked to log in. Use the email above and password that you created (Not your Google+ email). You should now have your account linked!!

Hope this end the frustration. Good luck!

How to fix this in the new YouTube:
Click on your Profile Icon in the top right.
Change to your desired channel and select the Gear icon (YouTube Settings).
Select "Advanced" under Account Information.
Set this channel to be your default.
Re-Link your Steam account to your Gmail account and all shout be well.

didnt work for me. still shows the videos from my old account. anyone have a fix?
Same issue, Scept I have a totally separate account, and even after i select it, its still pulling vids from my alternate account, There are no options to swap as default and the account names are totally different and it only displays your names now nothing else. changed passwords, unlinked all accounts but the main youtube, i feel like i've tried everything i can, and the only vids up are from like 3 years ago, I've been searching for hours and getting quite frustrated... Really searching for a fix...

I got another way of doing it! First you must make your own password like said before for your YT account you want to link with then you delete the one you don't want to link with. Then you wait a few days and it will link to the right account. First you must download all your videos and make a new second account then re-upload them if you want to.

I got it figured out, I was using a web browser from work, When I got home i did it from the program itself and it worked.

Well, for me even if I connect with a totally different account, it still shows me the videos from the old one, with no difference even if I delete one or add one. Steam is a bugged wh*re. Or maybe Google is.
