Adding Minecraft to Steam library?

Hi,

can anyone share with me a reliable method for adding Minecraft to my Steam library (with working overlay) on Windows 8.1 64 bit with 64 bit Java? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Press the "+ Add a Game" button on the client bottom/left corner -> "Add a non Steam Game"
On the next window press "Browse" and select the Minecraft launcher exe.

Hi,

thanks for your reply, but unfortunately, I've tried this method already and it doesn't work. The game just won't start.

Edit: Well, it does start but the Steam overlay is not working.
