Steam says that the Snow Globe trading cards are worth $10 How do i get that $10?

Ok. So last night I bought 30$ worth of steam games that were on sale. At the bottom when you are about to buy the games. It says " This purchase will earn you 1 Snow Globe trading card."
And then in brackets at the bottom of that it says " (approximately $10.00 USD per card)" How do I get those 10$? It also said in my inv that I need to use them buy Jan 3rd.

No, you spend 10 dollars and get a card, the card is not worth 10 dolars. Only worth about 20 cents.
