what will happen if i didnt download free left 4 dead 2 today?

i just saw a website which it said that left 4 dead 2 is only free to download and it will be remove from the library if its not downloaded today. is it true?? bec. left 4 dead 2 is 12664mb i cant download that huge file in 1 day

It should register the game license to your account when you click to install from the store page. You should be able to download it anytime after that.

Just start the download (for free!). After the deadline you won't be able to do that (starting) without paying. You don't need to complete it per se.

its really confusing, i install lef 4 dead 2 now and it has 100mb downloaded and i paused it. ill just check tomorrow if i can still download it. btw thanks

Wow. I wasn't aware of the installation thing. I would listen to WhereIsBusmin. Better safe than sorry. Even if your download speed is too slow at the moment, try downloading as much as you can anyway; it is the least that you could do.

The deadline may or may not be extended (the previous Flash Sale was prolonged as well), you never know. Don't pause it unless you have to!

I don't know if you know why, but this made me chuckle.

Anyway, I'm curious about whether or not you get to keep the game if you're in the process of downloading it when time runs out. I suppose we'll find out tomorrow.

Im downloading LFD2, but its so slow it won't complete until next week.

Maybe they did this on purpose so people would pony up cash if they don't download it in time. What a very unethical marketing strategy!

I think that once you click that green ''PLAY GAME'' button on Left 4 Dead 2's store page, and acquire the download in your library, you're golden. After all, the only thing that's gonna change after the deadline is that ''PLAY GAME'' button going back to its regular price. I suppose we'll find out tomoz.

I've downloaded 16MB of that game, and paused it in favor of Bioshock Infinite. I'm not really too fond of L4D2 (prefer the first one), but I wouldn't mind having it.

We'll see later if it still works.

3rd world country here as well. Very poor net connection as well, and I had a download reset on me. Sucks.
