Keyboard Is Not Working

I got a new keyboard, and I plugged it into my computer but it doesn't work.
It will light up, but It won't type anything. I have tried to plug it into another USB but that didn't do anything different. Also the keyboard I'm using is a E-Blue Mazer Type -X.
And sorry if this is the wrong place to put this thread.

im guessing its logitech? or razer? Dl the drivers for it. There might be something specific it needs. I know in order for my logitech to light up different colours, like blue or red, i needed the actual logitech drivers. Also go into Device manager and see if its actually there under keyboards. control panel > Device manager. If its there, there could be a problem with the keyboard itself or your USB ports. if its not there, then windows isnt registering that its in your USB ports.

Also restart PC with your keyboard in, to see if it comes up in the Device manager.

The brand that manufactures the keyboard is E-Blue, I also checked the manuel and it should work after plugging it into a USB, and I alos meet all the requirements it listed in the manuel.

Pull the plug out, put it back in and restart your PC and then check again. If its not there, you might have a problem, either with the USB ports themselves or the keyboard itself. Try plugging your mouse into those ports and see if the ports register the mouse, if it does, its not your USB ports. After you restart PC, do a windows update, im guessing you are on Windows 7 or 8. Windows should find drivers for you automatically, if you have Windows 7.

Thanks Nyran125 that fixed my problem, this is the first time that I needed to restart my computer to install the drivers.
