Best game capture software?

Hey everyone. So I just got a beastly laptop as an early Xmas gift. I can ALMOST fully max games such as ACIV (AA set to SMAA and using HBAO+ low) and still maintain an average of 40fps. I used fraps before and locked the fps to 30, and the output video is quite decent but just HUGE. I then followed a guide and rendered it through Vegas Pro.

Is there any other game capture software better than fraps? It's alot of hassle to render them through Vegas Pro each time and consumes about 10 mins of my time, then to upload takes a bit longer.

I've found that OBS does the job quite well, Its designed as streaming software, but it has a file output option as well, In terms of lag, I can run smooth 60fps recording in 1080p where fraps would normally drop me to about 20. The filesize will also be a lot smaller. Lossless quality I'm seeing about 1400MB/10 min of video.
