Not enough keys?
Why does steam sell Games for download the night before Christmas and not have enough keys? This is crap when you give games as a present. I would have bought something else had I known this. I will not buy Steam games for a gift anymore!

Sadly, Valve's crystal ball isn't working at the moment. Until they fix it, they have no way of knowing ahead of time how many copies of a game they will sell during the sale.

They should say that before they sell the game, but thanks for your sarcasm, it was loads of help.

The other option is to stop all sales until keys are available. Which willl lead to the inevitable "Steam hates non-usa people because i was asleep when teh sale started"

You get the game, at the advertised sale price. the delay is unfortunate, but the alternative is for you to have MISSED the sale due to lack of keys despite the sale being 48 hours or 8 hours or whatever.. I believe that this option is far more deterimental would you not agree?

Yes, my complaint is that they do not tell you until after you buy the game. Now I know, so it will not ever happen again.

It also happens at other DD sites. Blame the publishers for not giving enough keys.

If the situation has been so long enough, it's mentioned on the Store -page.
