What happened to Borderlands 2 price???

It was $15 for the GotY edition earlier. I get home from work and go to buy it, and it's $30??? What happened? I was pumped for that, but not now.

The reason i was confused was because when you get a GOTY game from Steam the game doesn't have "GOTY" in the name. I'ts just the regular game with the regular icon, however it has all the DLCs and i didn't know that :P

I've never bought a GOTY game off Steam that's why i had no idea what was going on.

Not quite all of them but a very large majority. All but most of the asesthetics and two small content packs.

Should have acted on this yesterday when I had the chance. Won't be buying at this price and just wait for it to come down again even if it's not during this sale. Already have the base game, so the only reason I considered buying it yesterday was because I looked at it as getting the dlc for 15$.

What they really need is a game of the year upgrade for those of us who already have the game but want the dlc in a package deal.

The GOTY bundle has been 50% off since the steam sale started and when it was on daily deal in the autume sale it was 66% off. It was 75% off on it's daily deal this sale for around 4 hours then got reverted back to 50% off. (it's pre-daily price)

50% off isn't a daily deal on the GOTY.

Why is Borderlands 2 GOTY even up there on daily deal when it's clearly not a daily deal?

Borderlands 2, the base game, is still 75% off. BL2:GOTY is 50% off. They display the more expensive version while hiding the real deal in the details. Yet another deceptive sale tactic steam employs.

Stig bought it and you can see his posts on page 4 and 7. Page 7 is when he confirms he got the game and dlc in the GOTY edition and 4 he is talking about how he bought it from that site. I am going to buy it shortly from there. Also read the first line in the description on that site which says "This is a Steamworks title, so buy it once and play it on PC or Mac!" so just by that alone leads me to believe it should work. I admit it is nice to have confirmation from someone who bought it though.

I bought it yesturday, has all the DLC it states, been playing it too much :), on pc too (dont know why it mentions only mac)
