What happened to Borderlands 2 price???

It was $15 for the GotY edition earlier. I get home from work and go to buy it, and it's $30??? What happened? I was pumped for that, but not now.

There is another retailer selling GOTY for 75% off right now, though I don't know whether or not Steam gets people in trouble for promoting other vendors here (it says it's the Mac version, but since it's just a Steam Key it works wherever)

my speculation is this. i'm not entirely sure, but this is my guess. i looked at the GOTY edition, and the standalone game. the standalone game was marked at 50% off. the GOTY edition had the regular game at 75, whereas all the DLC was 50. idk why, but i guess for some reason, the 75% off for GOTY and 50% off for standard seemed like a loss of money from a business standpoint, as opposed to better sales. but that's just my opinion

Yeah, I don't have a problem with only the base game being on sale, but saying that GOTY is on sale, taking it back, and keeping the GOTY art up is a problem.

Yeah, it looks like the daily deal is just for the game, not the GOTY edition, and they put the wrong one on the front page.
If you view the GOTY edition, the blue text says HOLIDAY SALE! but if you view regular Borderlands 2, the blue text says DAILY DEAL! just like all the other games in the daily deal.

Its not fair to do some thing like this. They should make it 75% for the rest of deal time. Some people like me save his money for offerts like this. Give hope and take it back its not appropriate

and just now, it looks like the store had a relapse. i see Fez and FFVII on the homepage for daily deals, when that happened a few days ago, as well as the community choices from a few days back. my guess it's a glitch in the system
