Cyborg v3 Rumble Pad issues
First off, I'm not positive if this should be in here or with hardware, but this place seems like a safe bet.

With that out of the way, I've been having some issues with my Cyborg v3 PS3/PC rumble pad recently. I originally got it a few years ago to play 2d platformers on my PC (specifically a rom a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night). After that, I didn't use it much for a long while. Recently though, I've been wanting to pull it back out for a few games. The first such game was AC4, hoping a game pad might make for smoother freerunning than mouse and keyboard. But for some reason, the axes for the right stick, which controlled the camara, were reversed. So left/right would make the camera move up/down, and up/down would make the camera move left/right. I messed around with the options menu, but couldn't get anything. I then tried it with AC1, and it had the same issue. I still figured maybe it was the games, so I tried a game from a different IP but with the same style of controls: Darksiders. This time, up/down made the camera move left/right, up/down did nothing, and the left and right triggers moved the camera up/down. I tried both installing drivers and reconfiguring the controller from Devices and Printers, but to no avail. Today I bought Strike Suit Zero, and figured I'd try the game pad again. Like Assassin's Creed, the axes were reversed. I went to the options menu, and found that this game actually lets you set the axes yourself from within the game. I set them correctly, and it worked for a while, but after a while they went back to doing the same thing.

I'm at my wit's end here. I've got what should be a quite good rumble pad, and obviously don't want to buy a new one; but I've Googled pretty much every phrasing of this problem I can think of and can't find a single thing. Anyone have any ideas here?
