30% Extra GameStop Credit

Just now a window pop up from Steam informing me that if I trade in anything at GameStop towards funding my Steam Wallet that I'll receive an extra 30% trade-in credit.

How did I go about doing this? I looked on GameStops website and there's no information. The only active trade offer is an extra 30% if you buy certain games when you also trade in.
Called my local stores and they all have zero idea about this promotion.
Clicking 'Details' on the pop-up only brought me to the front page of the store.

I don't want to walk in with an arm full of games only to be told I can't get the extra credit

You can call your store in-advance and see if they're offering the promo. Gamestop always does these trade-in promos, but they don't usually offer top dollar.

It just started appearing today. If you restart Steam, or play/quit a game you should also get the pop-up.
It claims I can trade in stuff for Steam Wallet funds, but all the GS employees I spoke to said you can't do that.

What?! I asked my gamestop too, and they said they hadn't heard of it! What is this blasphemy!
I also get the same problem, when I click the details button, it takes me to the front page! What is this steam... EXPLAIN! EXPLAIN! (reference intended)
