forward emailed gifts

Hello everybody,

Has anyone ever tried this:

email a gift to your own email-address, print this email and gift it to the person you originally want to gift it to? I would also forward the email at the time of gifting, so the receiver can click all the links...

The Help Topic isn't really clear about this...

So the real question is:
If I email a gift, is this gift somehow linked to this email-address or can I forward the email-message and with it the gift?

You should be able to forward it since you need to login with the account you want to activate it on and that account doesn't have to use the same email address.

This is how it was done years ago.

Why not store it in your inventory and send it later to the mail of the person you want to give it to? Technically it works, but why the hassle when you can have it the easy way?

it worked do this send it to ur own email and then without redeeming it send it to the person u wanna gift it to then follow the steps for redeeming it on his acc
