And are u using it via USB cable or through wireless Bluetooth?
http://www.hardcoreware.net/how-to-ps4-controller-windows/
I have Windows 8.1 and was using it wired. By the way- after I tested it on PC, it stopped to be recognized by PS4. I spent an hour to get it back to work. Fixed it by holding PS button for like 5 minutes. I wont know if I want to take my chances and try it again. But I can find good use for the $40 I would have to spand on X-Box 360 controller.
The motherboard on my computer has no BlueTooth. Is the 360 controller using BlyeTooth for wireless? So I need it wired and I need a long cable to reach across the room as my computer about 12" Ft away from my TV... Any suggestions? Do I need "active" USB extension cable or just any? Thank you.
Wireless 360 Controller uses 2.4Ghz Receiver not Bluetooth.
If you already have a wireless 360 controller from your Xbox360 Console, u can use that on your Windows PC by simply buying the needed USB wireless receiver[www.amazon.com].
Which means it wont work in most modern games since they use Xinput
DO NOT USE MOTIONINJOY. Which is basically Chinese spyware.
I've used it to get cheap generic gamepads and ps2/ps3 controllers to work fine on PC.
If you use wireless X-Box 360 controller- how is it range? Do I have to sit close to the computer and point it directly toward it? My computer is located about 17 Ft away to the right from me and somewhat to the back of me. Can receiver receive the signal 17 Ft away from me under the desk behind the couch? I really do not want to have to deal with long wire laying in the middle of the room that I would need to hide.
Also how do you charge the controller? I do not have xBox 360 or charger- I would have to buy everything. May be I should just install Motion Joy? Thank you.
Overall though, do not use MotionJoy, it is spyware. Please run Malwarebytes & Spybot S&D.
If you need a good emulator, try X360CE
•Complex analog configuration
•Separate install for each game"
What does it mean?
Have you heard of XPADDER? I am reading this post and the OP says- it works better: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/943498-just-cause-2/55784451 Also it posted in 2010... I am confused- when will I get to play any games? :(
