Family View Question: Restriction Specifics
Heyo. Me and my dad have started using steam family. And we are a bit confused rn on some of the options he can toggle for me. Like for example. What allowing me to edit steam settings exactly grants me access to.

If anyone can help me and my dad out. Can someone break down what each option does for allowing/removing restrictions for a child account? I might have not explained this very well (sorry I'm a little sick rn.) But if you want a better explaination I can prob do that

The adult can toggle on/off settings for the following on child accounts:

*Allow access to the Steam Store (ability to view store and shop for games)
*Allow access to appropriate games (violence & gore, mature rated, adult games etc)
*Allow access to Community generated content (eg..other users artwork, screenshots, steam & game forums)
*Allow the child access to Steam friends, friends chat and groups.
*Allow the child access to their online steam profile, achievements, screenshots
*Set playtime limits (set hourly/daily how long child can play)
*View child's playtime reports
*Approve or deny requests from child accounts for additional playtime or feature access, such as request to for the adult to buy the child a game.
*Recover a child's account if they lost their password
