Mouse stops working for a split second then goes speed mode

As stated, recently my mouse has started acting weird and it's getting on my nerves, especially when it comes to playing games where I have to aim.

Basically to explain the problem further, my mouse, whether in games or not, can suddenly, very randomly, stop working for a split second, sometimes longer. I shake it (like any other person would do), then after said split second is over my mouse goes speed mode as if its catching up to all the shaking I did while it wasn't working. So in games it would basically making me drastically spin around (and sometimes shoot randomly depending of if I tried that or not).

The mouse buttons also stop working. Nothing else stops working, keyboard works fine, my monitor is fine, just the mouse. I've looked around on Google, they say that the mouse driver might be outdated, it's not, tried different USB ports, didn't work. Tried unplugging and replugging the mouse. Uhhh I've tried restarting my pc, updating it. One thing I haven't tried is testing the mouse in a different device, but I don't have one at hand right now with the same USB ports. But I don't think the problem is with the mouse itself since it's still recording the movements and whatever.

So here I am. Would really appreciate some help or even just a discussion of the problem.

Well what mouse are you using? How old is it?

Also are you sure it's the mouse, and not your PC freezing? !After all of the mouse stopped working it wouldn't remember all the movements when it resumed. But if say your CPU was under 100% load and your USB had to wait, then movements would get queued up and processed when they could.

So what are your system specs, and what games to?

This happens to me if the game has certain mouse "enhancement" features, such as "smooth scrolling" and/or "mouse acceleration", though sometimes it is low on battery.

You should do it the other way around. Try a different mouse on the same device. This way you will narrow down the issue massively.

If you don't have one, you can get them for like $3 at almost every budget shop.

Either your system has stuggle issue or addware that effect system.

I assume mouse itself is not the issue , but DO caheck mouse driver and BIOS and Chipset driver is update, and if laptop you actual has full performance then gaming.

All driver is also usb driuver and whatever driver you have for that pc at support page.

Do not have other sytem issue, google how to do if needed.

and nothing prevent you test mouse at other pc or test other mouse at that pc.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
16GB RAM
RTX 3060
Windows 11.

And no it's not my whole pc, cause I can see enemies moving about while this is happening, and I can move around myself with my keyboard. It's just the mouse.. It also happens outside of games, while I'm just looking around on discord or google too.

I've never had an issue like this :(

sadly it's not just in games, its also when im just on google or discord :(
