Switching from Mac to PC
My Mac (2011) is getting to old to play some games or to play Steam anyway. Now I want to by a WIndows laptop to play Steam on. Question: are the data I saved in the Steamcloud also usable on the Windows Laptop? For example: are the data from Euro Ttrucksimulator or American Trucksimulator (map 100%, achievements etc.) also useable on the laptop, or need I to start all over again?

Achievements are tied to your account, not your computer. The cloud just stores your saved games. As for whether the cloud saves will work cross-platform, Valve says yes, but it's not guaranteed.
Yes, if you have enabled Steam Cloud for your games, your saved data (including achievements, progress, and settings) will be synced across devices, including your new Windows laptop. So, for example, if you’ve completed 100% of the map in Euro Truck Simulator or American Truck Simulator on your Mac, that progress should carry over when you log into Steam on your new Windows laptop, as long as the Steam Cloud is enabled for those games.

Here’s how you can ensure it works:
1. Make sure Steam Cloud is enabled for the games you’re playing:
• Open Steam on your Mac or Windows laptop.
• Right-click on the game in your Library and select Properties.
• Under the Updates tab, ensure Steam Cloud synchronization is enabled.

2. Check your Cloud Sync Status:
• You can confirm if Steam Cloud is syncing by checking the Steam Cloud icon next to your game in the Library. If it shows a checkmark, your data is synchronized.

After logging into Steam on your new Windows laptop, your saved data should automatically sync as long as it’s available in the Steam Cloud.
