I can't purchase games using Gcash for some reason. [RECURRENCE]
So I've been buying my games or transacting on Steam using Gcash in the Philippines. This has always work, but recently (as in today), whenever I proceed to payment, I receive this error message:

Error Code: -101
Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet.

It's been a few hours already.. as in, literally half a day probably and I still couldn't buy games. I didn't even get the point where I had to scan a QR code for payment. As soon as I hit the payment button from the cart, Steam opens a browser, trying to send me to Alipay or whatever, and I keep getting "Error Code: -101" message.

I tried this both at work, and then at home so it can't be my ISP right? Speedtest at home is also telling me that my internet connection is fine (I haven't tried Speedtest at work, but I assume it's also fine).

EDIT: Gcash (or Alipay) is working again.
EDIT AGAIN: Well, it's not working again. I was able to successfully buy a game once, and now I am unable to transact again.

Same here.

It's been happening since yesterday. I'm getting the exact same error and Steam Support hasn't responded to my ticket. It's been 23 hours now without any response.

same problem. it looks like it's an issue with Alipay, since my browser says it can't get a secure connection to the site. my internet connection is just fine too, and i haven't encountered this problem before when paying.

Brooo I have the same problem, anyone who resolved this issue yet?
Idk if it's been solved yet, but I still had the same problem last night. It's like Alipay is saying "yo bro, finish your backlog first, gagu" 🤣

Ahhh dang, I really wanted Balatro 🥲

Still not working for me. Did you do anything or it just worked on your end?

Hi there bro. Yeah it worked for me this morning. Alipay was able to load and generate a QR code for me, and I was able to pay using Gcash. I hope it works on your end.

I always get the "unexpected error" message whenever I finish scanning the QR code and confirming on Gcash. But the transaction is always successful. It's weird, but yeah, it's alright.
I tried to buy a 2nd game, and now I am getting error message again -.-
