I can't sign in to my games

I am signed into steam online but recently had to reinstall steam and since can't sign in to use my game platform. I tried to make a new password when mine did not work and then have spent hours over the last week clicking on squares only to be told my answers were suspicious and I should try again. As there is no way to speak to a steam advisor I thought I would try this.

Make sure you're logging in using the account name. Not the profile name nor the email address.

yes using right account. finally got to change my password but still can't sign in. I'm signed in here but can't sign in to my game interface. Help!

still trying to log on but even with my account name and password which I chaNGED I am unable. Is there anyway to talk to some kind of steam advisor rather than having to do this. support isn't much use if all it is is a message board. I have hundreds of pounds of games I can't access because of something as simple as signing in to my game platform.
