Friend trying to signup and problems

Her email account is listed as having already been used when we try to sign her up, so it rejects her signup, but when we attempt to recover password it says that the email is not in use.

Is there any way to fix this? Where can we file a ticket to get this resolved?

Even if the email address is already used, there's absolutely nothing preventing you from having multiple Steam accounts on the same email address. Hell, I have 2 Steam accounts on the same email address!

Are you sure you're really prevented from creating a new Steam account here and not merely getting a hint?

I've personally tried the signup, got the link sent to the email, then the link complains that the email is in use so it cannot be used again. Then trying to do anything like recover password will spit back a message that the email is not in use.
