Unable to activate steam guard on mobile.
So I'm having the problem of not being able to activate the steam mobile guard.
It's currently active trough my email adress but for some reason the items I've listed on the market are still blocked 15 days because (I'm guessing) I do not have the steam guard active via my mobile phone. Which is fine if I would be able to change that.

The problem I'm running into is as follows;
I navigate to the steam guard page on the app. You have 3 options. Mobile, Mail or not at all. Currently it's set via email. Once I click the circle for mobile it prompts me to a new page asking me to download the app (I'm accessing it trough the app go figure lol). I scroll down and there is this green button "Completed" (it's in my the native language for me so I'm guessing it's that in English). I click the button and it just sends me back to the main page of my profile.

I've tried contacting steam support but to no avail and they just closed my ticket.

I have an Android powered phone with the most recent android available to my device.
Which is a Samsung from 2021.

The steps I've taken;

Logged out on all devices via steam.
Reverified my mobile number (last time was 1500+ days ago, lol).
Deleted the app.
Cleared the cache.

The only other option I can think of right now is to just de-activate steam guard and re-activate it again but it says everything get's blocked for 15 days which I wish to avoid at all.

Can't a man just trade his damn skins without all this much fuss?

Please help.

Thanks.

I can't help with what you're asking about, but what you write about you contacting support (see quote above) is worrying.

If your support request is closed without you getting a message, that is usually a tell that your account is compromised.
Support don't close tickets without an answer. (Unless you've already got an answer, and you just keep spamming them)

Hijackers have bots that auto-close support requests on hijacked accounts, to prevent the owner from getting help.

For safety you should do the usual steps:
0. Change password on your email account. Enable 2FA if you don't already have it activated.
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a trusted/clean computer.
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Hi Joke,

Should've elaborated a bit more on the ticket I made. I did get a response from support but it was just a generic email. Follow this, do that. But not really an answer to my question.
