CSGO inventory taken from me (good people please read)
So, when there was transition from CSGO to CS2, I played beta CS2
After I finished game, steam support guy named Michael appears on my screen (Steam chat):
- all my friends are blocked, I can talk just to him
- he then writes that I have been involved in malecious trading behavioral (so its regarding inventory)
- note one thing, I dont do trades, and dont open casses at all (I wasnt into it)
- and I explain, this is not correct, I dont do bad behaivaral, I always played fair, and basically dont do trading
- he agrees, some group of peope purposely reported me, but, in order to be sure, I have to transfer my inventory to one of my friends from Steam, and inventory will be back in one week (sort of safety precaution)
- he sends request to my mobile Steam, and I accepted to transfer to my friend Dax
- so in my head I thought okay, I am gonna see my inventory back after a week, CS2 also have ongoing updates, maybe its gonna be sorted out
- I log in day after that, and realize that all my inventory didnt go to my friend Dax but to some Steam profile Dax with level 0 but with the same looking avatar ( https://steamcommunity.com/id/zinoviqeliseev555 )
- I posted questions on Steam support page, explaining that my inventory is missing, only to get "This help request has been closed." two times

For me, this is kinda sad, its not some great value in money, those cases I collected and gun skins that I earned playing (the lowest tier ones), but the fact that someone just wipes my stuff and I cant get any reason why.

That was a scammer, not someone from support.
Your account was already compromised at this point.

Read this:
https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/3195-9FFB-BA06-F25B

Also this:
Hijacked, not hacked. You leaked your account credentials somehow.

Do not trade until your account is secured. The stuff you already traded, is gone.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Steam does not return inventory items or wallet funds: https://help.steampowered.com/faqs/view/3B6E-B322-2400-8D24

If you no longer have access to your account, read this:

You are correct, I found hack tool with malwarebytes. Probbably keylogger. This is so messed up, this dude that did this had such automation to do all this, I genuinely thought that it was someone from Steam.

If only Steam could track down such accounts, and permanently ban them. As far as I know when you sell inventory you get money on Steam balance. These funds cannot be withdrawn, only spent somewhere else.

In second case, if person with stolen items sends items to his other account, it could be tracked and banned should it not?

Thank you for your help

the scammers use stolen accounts. report the account your items went to and move on.

Hacking means unauthorized access which the hacker gained.
