Why can't I install games in D: drive?
I had to run Steam as admin to install or update pre-existing games in D: drive before but problem suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I don't want to run steam as admin every single time I launch it; without admin, updating or downloading games would say "missing file privileges" and "disk write error"

My main C: drive have no problems doing these so but it's only between Steam and the D: drive having this issue

Also whenever I launch my desktop shortcut games it shows up UAC when running steam as admin. It's getting frustrating.

Here are the other methods that didn't work so far:

Clearing download cache
Changing download region
Repairing steam folder
Disabling anti-virus

Additional note, other launchers like Rockstar Games and Epic Games launchers don't have problems in installing games into D: drive. It's only STEAM that does this
