Issue with Purchases in Tunisia
Hi, so basically i live in tunisia and i have this mastercard, i already tried using it to fill the minimum 5 dollars to activate my accounts and access the community market (to buy cs go skins) but problem is that it doesn't seem to be working in my region. I did some research and discovered Steam gifts cards and Steam wallet codes, to be honest i don't know the difference between the 2. but i have a simple question, if i redeem a Steam gift card will it let me access community market ? And for the Steam Wallet codes?

To unlimit your account, you MUST use an external payment method YOU own.

Eligible for the USD 5 are:
* External payments using YOUR account (Credit card, PayPal, PaySafeCard, etc.) to top up your wallet balance or to purchase games or other purchases on Steam
* Redeeming a RETAIL wallet card (bought in a real-life store) matching YOUR currency

Following does NOT count:
* Game, hardware and software key activations, neither digital nor retail
* RECEIVING and redeeming a DIGITAL wallet code
* Using wallet balance, either earned through the sale of in-game items or redeemed using other methods than an external payment method (or retail card) you own.
* RECEIVING a gifted game or other form of gift paid by a different account.

also i'm sorry, but could you explain what's the RETAIl wallet card? it's not digital right?

Yes, you can top up using a retail wallet card bought in a real-world physical shop that matches your local currency. This will also unlimit your account.

Digital wallet cards are meant for gifting, not for personal redemption and therefore are not eligible for account unlimiting, because it's not from a payment method that is yours.

From what I read is that Tunisia doesn't allow international purchases:
https://www.export.gov/apex/article2?id=Tunisia-eCommerce
Tunisian credit cards are not approved for transactions in currencies other than the dinar and therefore cannot be used for purchases made on foreign commercial internet sites.

[...]

The Tunisian dinar is a non-convertible currency, so on-line purchases in foreign currency are not allowed, and few Tunisians make cross-border purchases via eCommerce.

Your only option is therefore Steam Wallet cards to be purchased in-store in Tunisia, if they are available.
