It's a scam.
Read the sticky.
No-one from Steam will communicate with you on a different platform like discord or send you an email stating you will be banned.

Why the hell would would someone at Valve need all that stuff when they already have access to everything about your account? They wouldn't.

It's an obvious scam!

EDIT: Oh and Steam does NOT use gmail.com for email. Nothing stops a random person creating a Steam....................@gmail.com email address

As already stated, it's a scam but be very careful of the spelling too, always check the spelling....one I recently received came from support@stteam.com

If you didn't notice, the word Steam has two letter T's.

Hello. Is this email real or fake? They wrote to me saying that they had been reporting my account because they were pretending to be me and that I should contact that email to help them get it back.
