How to permanently remove the imbecilic big picture mode ?

But unless you are very clumsy or did keybind the big picture mode to a often pressed key you should never see it if you dont want to.

I don't think there is one.

The monitor-looking icon in the upper right of the Steam client launches big picture, and if you press the Xbox button on an Xbox controller it will launch big picture.

You can't remove it. Just don't use it.

Another quick way to go into and out of Big Picture's fullscreen mode is to press ALT + ENTER on your keyboard.

I don't think there is a keyboard shortcut to open BPM, Alt + Enter behaviour was changed.
