These adult games...
I don't play them nor look at them, yet they are making up 30% - 50% of the games that pop up when I log in. Is there a way to block this or a way to change the algorithm ?

you turn off adult content in your settings. its OFF by default, you are the one that turned it on.

Click on your name in the top right of the client and select "store preferences". Here you can turn off/on what kinds of mature contents you see in the store.

The adult games only show up because you turned off the filter that removes them from your view.
That filter is set to hide the adult games by default.
That means YOU made them visible.

I wish I had your problem.
Here we don't have that problem.
IF we get a link to such a cool game, it then says something like "sorry, this game is not available in your region". :-(

Maybe I was? I have had this steam account for over 18 years. At a time there were "Mature games" that were actually rated AO... for example, Rockstars Manhunt. At a time, you had to have the adult think checked for games with excessive amount of gore....

Growing up as a kid, I remember my mom trying to cancel Wheres Waldo, because I showed her one night where there was a boob in the book..

Not to be a doomer boomer, but these ratings aren't what they used to be....

Thanks for the responses!
