And run a scan with this one : https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner
Malwarebytes and Awdcleaner are 2 different tools from the same company.
Im not having a discussion with you about this, i have 30+ years of experience with IT.
What is your goal with the comment?
I'm staring at it with my own eyes.

ADW is simply MWB without the virus scan. As long as one follows step one, they don't ALSO have to do your step. That's the goal with my comment. What's yours?
I would shudder to think what IT company is using your '30 years' of what appears to be riding to coat tails of a NT4 MCSE levels of knowledge
It is true that there’s some overlap between Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) and AWDCleaner, especially if MBAM is running its Web Protection feature, wich require the premium version. But AWDCleaner is more specialized in targeting adware, browser hijacking, and web-based threats in a proactive way. MBAM’s primary focus is broader malware detection, not exclusively web-related risks.
I have cleaned a lot of computers and AWDCleaner does sometimes find stuff that MBAM didnt find.
But hey you are free to think what you want, i was just trying to help OP. I will not be a part of your ♥♥♥♥ measuring, if you wanna think yours is bigger, go ahead.
