Purchased but no game

I had 40 dollars in my steam fund and wanted to buy black ops 6, i needed $29.17 and used my $50 mastercard gift card to finish off the payment, brand new just checked and it had all 50. I then press the pay button then it says the payment was cancelled due to insufficient funds. I go to the mastercard balance checker and see i am now at 20.83 and it charged me for the steam purchase and it says "00000007 Seattle, WA" I live in california. None of my team funds went away and i didnt receive the game. My giftcard was charged 30 dollars and i didnt receive anything. It also says it is pending, do i just wait it out or has anyone had this

also i checked my steam transaction history and the 30 dollar payment is not there, it was just deducted from the card balance

When you attempt to pay for something by card the card issuer 'reserves' the money regardless of whether the transaction failed or succeeded at the stores end. This is to prevent you accidentally double spending the money.

This hold should drop off after a few days and the money become available to spend again. If it doesn't you need to contact Mastercard to sort it.

Pending is not completed, if it's not completed you haven't paid for it yet. If the transaction ends up going through you'll get the game. If it fails, you won't and any money held by your bank will be made available to your account again.

You can try the transaction again, if it continues to fail, ask your bank what the problem is. Nothing Valve can do to force your bank to approve the transaction.

It took me like 7 days but I got my money back and it worked
