you stuff is gone forever and stop using your steam login on third party sites
You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.

and take some time to figure out how you gave away the log in for the account.
It's 2024 and some people seem to believe human beings share a collective consciousness and experience that should make scams impossible.
Patting yourself on the back for having a little bit of knowledge while pretending to be flabbergasted other people don't may not be the flex you think it is. It may just mean you don't understand the human condition, and that's nothing to brag about.
Support tickets and the existing support system aren't new. Methinks your memory isn't as reliable as you think. You might not be aware of this phenomena: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_memory
Valve didn't run support through email ever, it's a terrible way to run support if your userbase is over a couple dozen people. Even if Valve was silly enough to launch Steam with email support, they would have replaced it by day two.
And let's not forget you're not the only user with a problem.
Kinda seems like if you're unhappy with the time it takes to recover an account you should invest a bit of time in learning how to better secure your accounts. It might take your mind off the waiting if you set yourself up to never go through this again, maybe?
