It's one of the few "really blacklisted" games for me -- it's supposed to be a very good shooter-type game, but there is NO way to play an uncensored version in Germany thanks to Steam.
Maybe support will change it into the censored version if you ask them.
You need a special version of this game—available for purchase via the German Steam store.
I would contact Steam Support if I were you.
Check the Steam forums for the game, there are workarounds for this region lock but you have to digg through the threads or ask around to find out how.
Personally i'm boycotting the game; I know it's a great video-game, but this thing about whole region-locking a product that you are legally allowed to own and play (as an adult, mind you) is ridiculous and shameful.
Yea This whole thing is really weird. Im sure that it was sopoused to be obvius but I compleatly missed it when buying the game. Im youst sad that I have to stop playing now to find a solution as i will moast likely loose the flow of the game and stop being interested compleatly.
