Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Won't Launch or Immediately Crashes

Hello, my name is Sean and I have tried at least 8 different solutions for my issue before resorting to this method, so I promise that I have tried everything I can think of to solve this issue myself. I recently purchased Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes via Steam and it won't launch for some unknown reason. The launch screen comes up and says the game is launching, but it either closes and stops, or loads the game enough for it to load one quarter of a rotation on a loading screen before freezing and requiring a forced ending. I thought maybe it didn't install correctly, so I re-installed the game and that didn't work. Then I tried running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 8 and/or running it as an administrator, and that too proved fruitless. I have read many forums and I tried to do other things such as putting "addvidmem.30" to the launching options and that is what made the game at least open, But it still won't run correctly and like I said before, only begins to load before crashing. I have truly tried everything over the past three days and I am extremely frustrated by all of this, so any help that I can receive would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

What are your hardware specs?

Have you searched/posted in the MGSV:GZ forum? If not here's the link: http://steamcommunity.com/app/311340/discussions/

Some of the basics to try are verifying game cache, flushing Steam's config file, reinstalling the game, repairing Steam, making sure drivers are up to date, using various admin/compatibility settings, disabling security software (av, firewall, windows user priviledges) etc...

I'm not quite sure about my specs, but after reinstalling again with the beta version, I am now getting the disk-write error. I now the file is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes\data_01.g0s" (Disk write failure)" I found the file and I gave it full permissions...or so I thought, but according to Steam, the file is still locked and it can't be accessed.

I cannot play MGS5-
I used steam to verify the game files- said they are ok.

When I launch the game I get a black window with three white dots in the corner. nothing else.
It just stays like that. I am forced to ctl-alt-del to close the program.

Highly frustrating.

Nvidia EVGA_Gtx 980's (x2)
16GB Ram
Windows 10 64 bit-

I have the latest drivers from Nvidia, Steam's own verification of files said the files are complete.
And yet... the game will not launch.

I find this to be absurd and highly frustrating. How can Konami release a game that won't start?
How can steam - A multi-Million dollar company... not have a guy somewhere, checking the games out to make sure that they start before letting them get released on the site??....

a little thing called QUALITY CONTROLS!!!! goes along way.

I have googled and found nothing regarding a fix- Konami- live Chat does not work- Submitting a ticket with them did not work. As far as I am concerned Konami made a disastrous mistake allowing the game to be released on steam only. Putting the game data on some Cd's is cheap and ensures the game files are complete.

If the steam download is in fact complete- then the problem is truly with Konami for releasing a BROKEN game.

The game is getting high praise for its optimization and compatibility, but there is no way to test every hardware combo especially since other factors like 3party programs, drivers, Os versions/updates,security, settings and all kinds of other things can make or break a game. Also pretty much no one here will know if the issue is on your end or Konami's You should try osting this in the MGS5 forum.

One thing I would look into is that you are running your gpu's in sli and Windows 10. I have heard a fair number of people saying that combo of win 10/sli has been the source of a lot of headaches
