think about this scenario. let say today 1 USD is 11,000 IDR. you list an item for sale for Rp11,000 ($1). tomorrow (or when Steam updates its exchange rate) 1 USD is 12,000 IDR. will your item be listed as 12,000 IDR or still 11,000 IDR which is less than 1 USD now.
Ouch man.
epic volvo, think the conversion will make us better. else the amount not look good, so much confused i read Rp26767,07 in my account and so do in market.
please return my wallet account to usd curreny valve :(
people starting to see Valve's currency rates as forex rates
wanna play stocks, go to real forex finance company, not here lulz
It is about CHOICE.
For the SEA conversion other than Singapore, all other regions are doing WAY better than on the USD. In fact they are almost the same as Russian Ruble prices. Only Singapore is 'relatively' high, but it puts it on par with Brazil's discount of about 10-15%.
SOmetimes you dont get a choice. Any more than when I go to Thailand shop keepers aren't obligated to give me the 'choice' of paying in Euros.
correct, it IS about choice
Steam's choice
Gabe owns Steam,
Steam's choice = his choice
you are free to have your own choices in fashion, activities whatever,
but when you work at office or any other sort,
the rules of fashion or activities are the choices of your boss (or company's)
we don't work at Valve. we are their customers. and as customers we have the right to voice our opinion.
