Where do I redeem a game code?
Hey, I received a key to redeem a free game. Where do I go on the store to redeem it? Thanks

Press the games tab and press the activate a product on steam button.

I can't see anything saying activate a product, only a list of genres and other stuff.

Down in the left corner, is a "add a game". Press it, and click activate a game on steam. You should now be supported trough an activation.

In the upper left of your steam browser there should be a bunch of tabs do like i said in the op.

Nada. I'm in the same boat. Do not find anything re: 'Add a game' , there's nothing like that in the lower left corner and no Games>activate a product on steam button.

The top of the browser has the Steam icon, store, community, userID, about and support. Below that is featured items, games, software, demos, news and For you. Even worse, when I'm on the purchase page the only option is to choose which credit card.

Completely mystified as to how thousands of new amd customers redeem their codes. Why would I
not be seeing what you are. Do I need to install Steam using the button at top right before certain
things appear on the home page?

You need to be logged into the client/app to redeem game codes.
