Credit Card Verification?

On my account information page under my card information i need to verify ownership of my debit card. How can this be steam have already requested payment from my bank and the payments have been pending for a day or two which is normal. When i try to verify my debit card it just says my bank declined payment when it obviously hasen't and also says i need to contact my bank for them to process small transactions for the payment to go through.

This has never happened before what should i do? since steam support is ♥♥♥♥ i have no were to turn to :( i have had my debit card on steam for a week or two and has since processed a steam wallet payment. Please help me, i know my debit card fully works and has had no problems with steam before this.

Check your Transaction History, see if anything unusual pops up. Same thing happened to me and it turned out I made two 100 dollars transactions, which caused the error to occur. I requested the cancelation of the transaction and waited a few days to do it again.

Yeah but its already been taken from my avalible amount and just needs to be deducted fro the total of my bank amount.

Yeah but its already been taken from my avalible amount and just needs to be deducted fro the total of my bank amount.

One payment was taken on the 30th for steam total of £4 but im still awaiting 2 £10 payments to be deduted off my full amount. I bought one £10 wallet fund on the 30th as well and then yesterday i bought another £10 wallet fund.

When Steam started offering Steam cards, that put an end to any credit card use online.

Every other store I shop at, I buy their gift cards with cash and use them to place orders. Credit cards were the worst invention . . . EVER.

Problem around my way is that i cant buy steam cards. The nearest game store to me is 1 hour away :(
