The Lone Dark or Rust?

Both games look amazing, but im having some trouble deciding what one to buy

Why I like and dont like rust

• Rust has the multiplayer feature so i can play with friends
  
• I am able to make my own base with my friends
  
  BUT
  
• Rust is double the price of The Lone Dark (at the time this was posted)
  
• Rust is apparently full of hackers
  
  Why I like and dont like The Lone Dark
  
• Seems like a good challenge
  
• Is half the price of Rust
  
  BUT
  
• seems like it would get VERY boring quickly
  
• I cant play with friends
  
  So, i need some advice on what I should buy. any and all input is appreciated :)

My friends, who own Rust, wouldn't recommend the game at all at this point. They say "In the future it might be a good game, but not right now". I hope that helps in your decision making...

Hmm, thats pretty interesting. Ill take that into consideraton :) I also have heard both positive and negative reviews of rust. A friend of mine said that its a fun game if you find a very small server. Thanks :)
