Vanilla Visa Gift Card Paid With it unverified
I got a vanilla non reloadable visa gift card for xmas and it had 50$ on the card so I bought 50$ worth of steam wallet, and I forgot to active the card and it says

"you've recently funded your Steam Wallet using an unverified credit card that has had a recent increase in use. You can attempt to verify the funds now or wait until the restriction is automatically removed.
NOTE: Verifying the funds may not work with all banks or credit cards. If you cannot verify your card, then you must wait while the payment method is verified with Steam. Steam Support cannot provide or convert verification charges and cannot remove this restriction. More info...

If nothing further occurs to restrict your access, you'll be able to use The Community Market on 1/3/2015 2:30:51 PM.
"

Do I need to contact steam support and let them know I verified it or will I be fine and just wait the time? It won't let me verify it it says "Your bank declined one or both of our small authorizations. If you clear this issue up with your bank, you can retry then."

So I'm guessing wait it out? It was a mistake on my part for not activating it, I thought it already was activated.

You couldn't verify it because you spent all the money on it. You just have to wait it out.

I am as confused as you, to be perfectly honest. Just used a Mastercard prepaid card to do this, and now I can't do anything on the Community Market because of it

Steam doesn't trust new payment methods -- and it appears they have more issues with payments and community market garbage than they have with actual games, so they are only restricting the community market for a bit.
