Why does not my TES V: Skyrim Legendary Edition include czech language?
Hello!
So my friend gave me a digital key to activate it on Steam and it turned out to be Skyrim, which is great, but my copy cannot be switched to Czech language. I checked for the Store and it says tak Skyrim INCLUDES czech language. Is there an official way to get it? Thanks!

Did he gave you a european, a US or a CIS copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition?
Check: https://store.steampowered.com/account/
What exactly does it say for the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary entry?
The European version only has English, French, German, Italian and Spanish language options.

It says just Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Retail. Oh, so there!s no way to get czech? :(

If it's not included in the license, you won't get it.

Hmm strange, I have the european version, (bought in Germany) and I have 8 or so languages, including czech. Maybe you have the US version ?

I'm in the same region, bought the Legendary Edition and czech is included.
But I never used it, isn't english just more comfortable in games?

Where are you getting this information from? If you were looking at the Skyrim store page and scrolled down to languages, the five you mentioned are the ones listed in the table, but there's a clickable link directly below it that says "See all 9 supported languages" and if you clicked that you'd see it also has Polish, Russian, Japanese and Czech.

Having checked my own (UK) copy of Skyrim, I have all 9 languages as options. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to think "Yeah, we'll let people in the UK choose Czech or Polish as a language option if they want but people from the Czech Republic or Poland who actually speak those languages can only pick from English, French, German, Italian or Spanish"

Regardless of what country code I enter on Skyrim's store page, it always lists all 9 languages as supported...so that begs the question:

What languages are in the list that you can choose from? And (if you know) where's your friend from?

that is really strange, which languages are available in-game?

My friend is from Czech Republic, and so am I, but if I received digital key from him (not a steam gift directly), I would suspect he bought it on G -- . -- 2 . -- . A. I guess.

These languages are available:
English
French
Italian
German
Spanish
Japanese
Traditional chinese

Mentioned above.

I have absolutely no problem playing games in English, and Skyrim is no exception, yet sometimes it's just more comfortable to switch to the native language of Yours, isn't it? :-)

I don't get the point of the whole "regional" thing .. it's just nonsense, as someone mentioned above.

That's really great, isn't it? So You receive a gift of a game copy, but You don't have all the languages the game really supports, and because You already own the copy, You're not able to rebuy it and none will give those languages to You.

You got the asian version.
You can ask support to remove your current version to replace it with a proper european copy. Which you would need to buy.
