I'm interested in buying the game, "Alan Wake." Is my computer compatible with Alan Wake? The recommended specs are

• Processor: Quad Core 2.66GHz Intel or 3.2GHz AMD
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Graphics: DirectX 10 compatible or later with 1GB RAM
• DirectX®: 10
• Hard Drive: 8 GB HD space
• Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible
My specs are

Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-4200U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.30GHz
Installed memory: (RAM): 6.00 GB (5.89 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Pen and Touch: Full Windows Touch Support with 10 Touch Points
Adapter String: Intel (R) HD Graphics 4400

Total Available Graphics Memory: 1792 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 32MB

You don't even meet the minimum requirements.
CPU is only a dualcore with 1.6GHz, game requires 2.0GHz Dualcore
DirectX10 capable videocard. You don't even have one, just an integrated videochip.

I have to thank you for asking. It's always better asking first, than crying and whining later. We already have enough of those "I have a great PC, the game is crap" when in reality, the opposite is true.
